The Arkansas Corn & Grain Sorghum Board collaborates with the U.S. Grain Council and the University of Arkansas to promote Arkansas corn, sorghum and barley across the globe. Through trade missions, board members have been able to spread their message worldwide. In partnership with the U.S. Grains Council Trade Missions, promotions have spanned from Morocco and Egypt to Vietnam and Indonesia.
The University of Arkansas’s poultry short course helps international buyers and nutritionists learn more about the benefits of increased feeding of corn, sorghum and DDG in poultry diets. Attendees learn from some of the top poultry scientists in the world while gaining hands-on experience to reinforce classroom learning. Classes have been attended by teams from Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Israel and several East African countries.
